Kauai For Romantics, Foodies and Beach Lovers

The Island of Kauai is often thought of as extremely wet. True it does have one of the wettest spots on earth called Mt. Waialeale, receiving over 400 inches a year, but that is not the entire truth of Kauai. Almost round in shape, Kauai has distinct weather variations on this 522 square mile island. The famous Poipu area is to the South and has glorious beach days most of the year. Kekaha, once a thriving sugar cane town and mill has very hot, dry weather.
